St. Angelo Bridge (translated in Italian, as Ponte Sant’Angelo) is a pedestrian bridge that spans across the River Tiber leading to Castel Sant’Angelo. Also known as Hadrian’s Bridge, it was constructed in the 2nd century to connect the Roman Emperor Hadrian’s mausoleum to the Roman city centre. It is faced with travertine marble and provides unobstructed views of what was once the tallest structure in Rome.
Nearby bus services at St. Angelo Bridge include the 40, 46, 62, 64, 115, and 280 lines of the Rome Metro. The public transportation network in Rome allows for one-way tickets to be purchased with unlimited transfers between all metro, trams and buses, usually for under 2 EUR. Traveling 15-minutes by foot, immediately to the west you will reach Vatican City and Basilica di San Pietro. Travel south from here, you can reach the district of Trastevere, in under 30-minutes by walking, or in less than 10-minutes if taking a car. A taxi ride will typically cost between 20 to 25 EUR for this journey.

Both are located about a 10-minute walking distance, to the southeast towards the city centre, from St. Angelo Bridge.
